Lucanto is built by a fully remote team based in Czechia and Slovakia. The team describes itself as "designers, engineers, and visionaries developing tools for modern people."

**Origin story:** The team started frustrated with how complicated and fragmented financial tools felt — invoices in Dropbox, expenses in Excel, accountant on the phone, taxes in yet another place. The goal was to build the single space that holds everything together for founders, freelancers, and agile teams.
